Neutraface Brochure
As part of our exploration of design, my class was asked to chose a typeface and create a brochure depicting its history and elements. I selected Neutraface, a san serif typeface characterized by geometric motifs and low crossbars.

This is one of my first layouts designed. The design features a geometric background with gradient, inspired by the geometric nature of the typeface. As the typeface was initially designed for digital platforms, I decided to include a word map that featured different weights of the typeface. This exercise is a marrying together layout and design in a way that is easy to read and is aesthetically pleasing. Some features of this design I particularly admire are the Anatomy of the typeface segment and the use of the ligature and "@" sign as imagery in the design. The color scheme is also overall cohesive and gives off a modern tone.
